Lord, after a crazy and hot summer I am so ready for fall fashion! Something about layering your clothes, structured jackets, cozy sweaters – and let’s not forget boots! I feel like there is so much power in boots in that they can totally change the feel of your outfit and even your whole mood. Combat boots? I feel like a bad ass. Stiletto boots? I feel sexy as hell. Chunky heel boots? I feel like I can wear them from day to night.
Journey’s – Doc Marten’s Classic Boots
To get started on one of my favorite fall trends, I headed to Fashion Show to see what boots were up and coming. At Journey’s they had a vast array of the classic Doc Marten combat boot. These babies were big in the 90’s and with all the throwback fashion they are totally back (haha, had to add in that totally-90’s vocab!). Pair these with boots, skirts, a girlie dress or even shorts and these practical boots will get the job done. I know last season white boots were all the rage and they seem to be still in this season. Doc Martens did their own twist by creating a platform version – also very 90’s, that gives you stellar height and a whole different vibe from their classic boot. From embroidery to buckles to their classic boot, you can find something for everyone with Doc Martens at Journeys.
Shiekh: Day to Night Boots
At Shiekh, I found a unique selection of women’s boots that were great for day or night. For example, these chunky heel merlot and tan boots can easily be dressed up or down with just about any outfit. I could wear these to my 9 to 5 and then later get down in them with the girls at a lounge or on a date with the hubby. Plus, the chunky heel makes them practical and comfy.
Shiekh also had these stunner rainbow snakeskin boots that made me feel like Beyonce for some reason, LOL! These stiletto boots we surprisingly comfortable, from the shoe’s fabric to the sole. I could definitely see wearing these in a photo shoot or out with Zell when I need to spice up my outfit.
Neiman Marcus: Upscale & Luxury
Next at Neiman Marcus, they had all the luxury brand boots that just made you drool. From Fendi to Gucci to Christian Louboutin, Neiman’s is ready to get you luxury label lovers ready for fall. These Fendi boots brought all the sexy vibes: smooth, sleek and high these babies felt like butter. I didn’t want to take them off. Gucci has been making a major combat with their classic print and they decided to switch it up this fall by using a super soft and plush tweed fabric. I didn’t want to take them off. And these Christian Louboutin combat boots were a standout with all their unique details.
