2020 definitely has done a number on us all. But for me personally it’s wreaked havoc on my skin. From having to wear a mask and not sleeping well, to being stressed out to the max and just plain mom life, my skin has needed some serious TLC. I have noticed more fine lines and acne lately which caused me to think I needed to do something about it. Especially heading into the new year, I wanted to ensure not only will I feel my best, but I will also look my best.

Normally I would head to a spa for a much needed facial, but we all know things are far from normal during a pandemic. Instead, I headed to Saks Fifth Avenue at Fashion Show Las Vegas to learn about luxury skin care products to help me look my best even while stressed. Thankfully I found an arsenal of skin care products and lines based upon my needs and desires.

Plant-Based Innovation with Chantecaille

I’m a huge fan of natural products but also innovation. So when I learned Chantecaille found a way to infuse both into their skincare line I was automatically in love. The family-run business infuses their products with plant stem cells and botanical ingredients such as their revolutionary rosewater that is both anti-aging and anti-inflammatory. Their products are also vegan and cruelty free and the company is incredibly philanthropic. To date, Chantecaille has launched 29 Philanthropy Collections — three of them permanent — and donated more than $2 million on behalf of coral reefs, gorillas, wolves, lions, elephants and more. So not only will you look good while using their products you will also feel good!

It’s hard for me to pick a favorite Chantecaille product because they are all great, but the Bio Lifting Mask and Rose de Mai Face Oil definitely left me wanting more right away. The mask helped reduce my fine lines right away without making my face feel dry or tight. If anything it left my face incredibly moisturized. The face oil was also moisturizing and nourishing but what I loved the most is how it gave me that immediate J-Lo glow. Talk about instant gratification! Just a few drops and my skin was dewy and brighter.

Science-Based Results with Cellcosmet

Based upon cellular technology, Cellcosmet delivers products created by a team of scientists and researchers. In all, the company does not cut any corners in terms of biotechnology utilizing their CellControl cellular method. This state-of-the-art procedure ensures cells are maintained in their active state, meaning active ingredients provide an optimum effect and truly help revitalize and enhance the skin.

I was very intrigued by the innovation and science utilized throughout Cellcosmet’s products. What caught my eye right away was the Anti-Stress Mask. I’ve been needing something to reduce that “tired mama pandemic face” and this packed a powerful punch after using it within just 10 minutes. My skin was no longer dull but instead rehydrated and supple.

I also needed to  show my hands some love and started  using Cellcosmet’s Hand Cream. Between the dry winter months and the summer sun, my hands have needed some help. I also get my nails done with gel polish and the UV rays have pulled a number on them. Normally throughout the day I find I have to use lotion often but using Cellcosmet’s hand cream has reduced this tremendously. Not only are my hands moisturized and hydrated, but I honestly think they look better!

Sea Kelp Power with La Mer

I have heard of La Mer for years but really never took the opportunity to learn more about the origins of this iconic company. Its founder unfortunately was severely burned in a lab accident yet found he was able to heal his skin using the power of fermenting sea kelp. This discovery became the backbone of La Mer’s products to help with dryness and healing.

Living in Las Vegas, my skin is super dry especially during the winter months. I typically feel I need more makeup to look my best but ultimately I rather keep it simple and add more moisture. So it’s really no surprise to me that I instantly fell in love with La Mer’s Crème de la Mer. Infused with La Mer’s Miracle Broth this cream is thick, soothing and incredibly luscious. A product I’m dying to try is their Genaissance de la Mer The Eye & Expression Cream. The cream is said to plump and hydrate to diminish expression lines and it comes equipped with a massage tool for advanced smoothing and increased microcirculation. Let’s just say it sounds like the perfect item to add to my at-home skincare routine.

I literally could go on about all the fab products I’ve been adding to my DIY skincare routine to combat looking tired and stressed. Thankfully with these items from Chantecaille, Cellcosmet, and La Mer I should start reversing the hands of time a bit and bring my best face forward into the new year. If you are needing to add some of these favorites or other items, you can find these and more at Saks Fifth Avenue inside Fashion Show.
