Apple Watch
Since I’ve been working from home more often, I found I was constantly looking at my phone or laptop screen. To reduce the tendency of doing peeking at emails all day and focus on being present with my family, I went ahead and invested in a new Apple Watch and I’m so happy I did. It has allowed me to reduce my screen time substantially but still maintain a pulse on things as I can receive all sorts of notifications from it. Plus, it monitors my steps, activity, reminds me to stand up, and even to breathe throughout the day. It’s small but has helped me get a lot more balanced as a hustler!
Blue Light Glasses
Even though my screen time has reduced with snagging my Apple Watch, I still spend a ton of time on both my phone and laptop managing my business. Staring at a screen can have affects on your sleep and make your eyes tired over time. Once my eyes started feeling heavy, I knew I had to do something! I snagged these cute pink tortoise shell cat eye blue light glasses and have received SO many compliments on them! Every time I’m on Instagram stories some asks for a link!
Laptop Stand
While I do dock my laptop to my screen often, sometimes I need a change of location while working from home and will find myself in the kitchen or even bed. Thankfully my husband bought this for me earlier this year so I would not hurt my neck and back. It’s padded, simple to use and super affordable! I even use it to raise my laptop while doing Zoom calls often so I don’t get that dreaded angle!
Herschel Pop Quiz Backpack
While I currently have this backpack in black and the saddle back bottom, I LOVE my Herschel backpack. It has a ton of room for not only my laptop but also my DSLR camera and all the other things I need to run my business. And even better, there are so many different stylish options you can get to capture someone’s unique taste!
Big Magic
Big Magic is easily one of my favorite books of all time. I read it almost 5 years ago and still find myself returning it to motivate me to keep going and growing myself and my business.
