NARS Spring 2018 Color Collection

So my love affair with NARS has continued into Spring and guys…I’m addicted.

Along with the Las Vegas Style Writers & Bloggers and Vegas Lifestyle Influencers I was invited by Christie Moeller to check out the Spring 2018 collection featuring celebrity makeup artist Saffire Cherry. Saffire did an amazing job highlighting the collection and advising how to use the new products which is super helpful to me being a make-up amateur but aspiring to be at a a moderate make-up maven (a girl can dream, right? lol).

Saffire modeled the collection on the beautiful Patty Barba, who by the way totally doesn’t need make-up in the first place. First off, Saffire showed off the beautiful foundation that can easily be applied using your fingertips but still gives awesome coverage. I mean, I never knew I could get such a clean and luminous finish without using a beauty blender or brush and only using my fingers.

Next, she showed off the new Spring 2018 the liquid blush, Hot Tin Roof, which Saffire also applied gently using her fingertips, noting that a little goes a long way. Since this event, I’ve worn this blush almost daily and I can definitely vouch for this – I don’t even need a whole pump, just a half, to give me a proper glow. Also, Saffire tested this product on multiple girls with different complexions showing that this color honestly can work on anyone.

Saffire followed this up by using the Spring 2018 highlighting blush, Free Soul, and the combination with the blush just set this look. I loved that while the highlighter was pigmented, it was still a true highlighter and I found it worked super well with my complexion and pink undertones.

I also purchased one of the lip cover from the collection, Under Arrest, which is a peachy-coral-orange lip color that is super moisturized and long-wearing. I personally wore it to event this past Saturday and even after wearing for a 6 hours and eating food I still had complete coverage. Saffire mentioned that all the lip covers in the collection had the same type of long-wear coverage.

To round out my collection I also purchased a primer with added SPF and concealer, which you also use your fingertips to apply (can you tell how much I love this feature yet, lol). Also during this event we were treated to super yummy cocktails as well as complimentary blow outs by Dry Bar.
