Unless you’re living under a rock, you’ve probably seen Adobe Lightroom Presets are all the rage. They’ve taken over VSCO and the default Instagram filters as the easiest way to keep your photos and Instagram feed looking cohesive. And the great thing about it is they are super easy to use on your mobile device.

I’ve actually created my own Lightroom Mobile Presets and am excited to announce they are FINALLY available to purchase (setting up an online store ain’t that easy folks, lol). If you are interested in purchasing them, head on over to my shop.

Adding presets to your mobile device can be a bit confusing, so I’ve created a step-by-step tutorial to show you how to add this to you iPhone. For my Android users, I can refer you to this great video as I attempt to get more familiar with those devices and prepare one for you all too.

Alright, so you’ve purchased some presets ::cough:: hopefully my presets. Now how do you get them on your device? Well, follow the below steps. I also email you these instructions upon purchasing in case you need them!

How to Use Lightroom Mobile Presets

Before we get started: Please download Lightroom CC on your mobile device (IT’S FREE) otherwise you will not be able to use these presets.

Android: Lucky you! Your phone allows you to unzip .ZIP files and therefore you’ll be able to skip some steps.  See this tutorial to add presets to your Android device:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcnMx4nC0Lk.

iPhone: Download an app that will allow you to unzip .ZIP files.  For the following instructions,  Unzip app is used.

Step 1: Open your email order from your phone.  Select the file link to begin downloading the file to your phone.

Step 2: Select “More…”

Step 3:  Select “Copy to Unzip”.  Unzip will then  automatically open.

Step 4: Select .ZIP file within Unzip.

Step 5: Select new unzipped folder of presets.

Step 6: Select a .DNG file to download it.

Step 7: Select the open in/share arrow in the top  right corner.

Step 8: Select “Copy to Lightroom CC”. Lightroom will the open to the preset you have selected.

Step 9: Select three dots on top right hand corner.  From menu select “Create Preset”

Step 10:  Enter “Preset Name” and “Preset Group”, i.e. “Jewel Love 1” as Preset Name, “Jewel Love” as Preset Group.  This will create an album for your presets. When done, select the check mark in the upper right hand corner. You will then receive confirmation that the preset has been saved.

Step 11: To use the preset on other photos, select a photo within Lightroom, go to “Presets” and select the preset you created.  Repeat steps to add additional presets.

And voila! You know have Lightroom Mobile Presets! I know all these steps may seem overwhelming, but let me tell you, once you have it set up it’s super dupe easy to use.
